Small Group Happenings
Small groups fill a niche in every community. NUMC Small Groups offer fellowship and support
in a Christian atmosphere. You will find small groups in different age groups with a wide variety

Women's Group
Meets every Wednesday from 6:30-7:30 pm at the church for various studies.

Quilter's Group
Meets every Tuesday at 7 pm in the church’s Fellowship Hall for shared
learning, fellowship, devotionals, and on-going mission projects. Contact:
Paula Damkoehler.
Disciple Bible Study
Through video segments by scholars, reflective discussion, and daily preparation,
seeks a deeper understanding of Bible texts. Courses range from 8-32 weeks,
depending on the particular focus. Contact: Paul Damkoehler.
Keenagers
Our mature-experienced adults, travel to sites of interest in the area and out to
lunch on the 4th Thursday each month.
Emmaus Reunion Group
Continuing their Emmaus experience, these individuals meet weekly to
fellowship, to support one another and to seek accountability for their
"4th Day" actions. Contact Patricia Walsh.

Youth Disciple Groups
For those youth interested in growing closer to Christ through intentional focus on their
spiritual habits such as prayer, study, and accountability to others in a small group.
Companions in Christ
A spiritual formation experience, this group meets on Thursdays, 10:30 am—12
noon. Contacts: Jerry & Margaret Ritter.
Men's "Get Real"
A ministry with a monthly large group breakfast meeting and also a small group
meeting more frequently.
LOST
Local Outreach ??? Training - the newest "small" group at NUMC would love to become a
"large" group! This dedicated group of individuals meet on Wednesdays evenings to learn
